Over the past few days, JSE's come up over on SyntaxBomb.com, and I've had to waffle on about it to try and explain what it is, what it's purpose is, and why most people probably shouldn't be using it to write games like I do!! Then I noticed something..

Yesterday was pretty much a day off. The sliffles and flu took hold, and I've had over 24 hours of sleep during the past two days. Not much coding is getting done!

Today's Mum's birthday, so I likely won't be coding. Sounds like a good day for Tetris, methinks. Might even see if we can find the Scrabble board.

I spent FAR too long trying to get a magnet powerup working properly on the upcoming Megaball clone.

The interface/GUI todo-list is getting out of hand!

I think this week's game needs something a little more.

Kicking 2024 off in fine form, I launched the first game of the year just before midnight, last night. And, we're off!

Still haven't heard anything from either our, or the buyer's solicitor, as far as getting a move on the move goes. Our Estate Agent did at least email, assuring us that, if we haven't heard anything, that means they likely haven't pulled out at the last minute. .. Urk!

Still waiting. Still no news. Kinda frustrating, if I'm honest. Ho-hum. Carry on coding, Jay.

The new JSE commands are now live, though most of them do cause a heck of a lot of slowdown, so use sparingly!!

I added a couple of nice new commands in GotoJSE, yesterday, but haven't uploaded them yet. Maybe later today, you might be able to play with them..?

Oh my, what a productive coding weekend I've had!

Good grief, things are slow.. I'm taking my mind off all the sitting around, by thinking up a plan for the next phase of AGameAWeek.

A contract was signed yesterday. The envelope waits, on the coffee table, ready to be posted in about an hour or so. This likely isn't the end, but it's certainly a big step forward.

I'm not currently doing AGameAWeek Proper, or SmileBASIC games, or ... ..Oh good grief, I'm not coding anything!!!

I'm down to two map-points to unlock for the surface. Probably would've been quicker, but I had to stop and teach some kids about the calamity.

Over on the Centipong DS post, Jefferson just popped on over (4 years after his last comment) and asked about the music.

That came together well enough, though I did experience one vague moment of insanity yesterday..
