Alan asks..
Did you ever read up on Nandeck? even if you don't use it, it might inspire you on your own ideas as far as bulk generating cards and such.
This would be for generating things like "Monopoly Knock-off" Property cards, "Top Trumps Knock-off" score based cards, "HeroQuest Knock-off" Inventory cards, and things like that.
Don't worry.. No inspiration is necessary.

I have a very very specific image in my head, and it's one that IF I dare to make an SVG art doohickey, is going to be at the absolute forefront when I begin.
Let's take a deck of cards, because.. Hey, I think I might end up using that!!

@RSKGames

I was very lucky that in my first game I did not get into any snake tiles and got the help of one ladder tile to reach near the end zone much before the AI.
Yup, this is a game 100% down to luck.
I'd like to perhaps remove the sheer-luck, by making the moves maybe Card based, or something? Not quite sure how well that would work, and it honestly wouldn't be "Snakes and Ladders" anymore.
So.. Perhaps another type of board game in the future?

If you're a frequent reloader of Shoebox of Games, you might've noticed the sounds of the cards being switched out, about half-a-dozen times, over the course of yesterday.

The gfx in the credits screen has a very good looking swirling ghost effect.
And what a lovely effect it is!

I spent most of last night trying various microphone tweaks in order to get just the right sound.

Awesome!! Thanks Alan!!
Note : I so very very very nearly deleted your comment because, without any additional text, it just looked so much like a standard spam-bot link! Sincere apologies if 100,000 other people have already sent me such replies, and I've been clicking the delete button on them all!!!

There are an awful lot of elements that it would be great to add to the Shoebox framework, but first a few additional framework chunks need to be integrated.

What should've been doable within a few short hours, ended up taking most of the day.

You can Play Klondike in the Shoebox of Games!

Had another "This game isn't possible" email, this morning, about the blocking of the Draw Pile in Spider Solitaire.
On the one hand, I guess I need to add a little more ingame, onscreen instructional stuff.
On the other hand.. People just want Klondike, don't they!!!

Since managing to completely fudge the site up, last night, I then spent a few hours whittling away at Game #2.

Right, I'm probably going to ignore the audio issue, and plough ahead regardless.
The audio tweaks can be made in the future. After all, this engine is 100% javascript, so everything is really easy to tweak afterwards, unlike most of my normal games that require recompiling and reuploading and then the player to realise there's an update, and redownload it.

Today I need to start getting the rules of Spider Solitaire to work, but as always will be looking for ways to reuse this code for all the future games.

Over the next few days, I'll be doing various tests and things, as I try to determine the best methodology for the games.
First up, Setting a grid size based upon a couple of values.

Taking a significant chunk of the Foldapuz/Unfolded, and JNKsg code as the basis, I've managed to get a fairly decent drawing engine up and running.
Text, Ovals, Rects, Lines, Plot, and the all important DrawImg are all in, and functioning as expected, albeit without any recolouring for DrawImg. (Since I'm using basic Javascript and HTML5, I'm forfeitting the ability to recolour my sprites)
