Yesterday's attempt to play No Man's Sky using RemotePlay on my iPad, for any decent amount of time, left me ranting and raving at Apple again.

Spent most of last night trying to get Win10 installed on the MacMini, using BootCamp.

I started the day off with an idea in mind.
I created a little sprite of a bubble, and formulated some kind of a plan for a game.

Did you ever see Reiner Knizia's _Decathlon_ dice game? Go check it out on boardgamegeek. Not that you'd want to copy it wholesale, but you could get some inspiration for different ways to total dice.

Handy Hint : Subscribe to my YouTube channel to get videos of games I'm about to release.
They usually appear about 12 hours before I release them, because after faffing about making the video, and uploading the video, I'm usually too tired out to actually post the game to the site, and instead leave it for the morning!

I've not done a Shoebox game for a couple of weeks. My mind doesn't seem to want to be bothered doing GUI/Mouse/Touch driven stuff, of late.
That's a bit of a shame..

This week's Petit Switch game appears to have a car in it!
The car can drive along a vertical road, and can jump, because.. Why not!
There are trashcans along the way, and the car can either knock them over or hop over them.
Other than that, I've really no idea where I'm aiming for with this game!

1. Foldapuz got done. It was a bit of a squeeze, but I pulled off another Logic game. (Pills)
I really need to come up with a new Word game for Foldapuz. It's been AGES* since I added one!

I finished off WestWords last night, so that's ready for release on our regular Shoebox Saturday slot.
Today, I'm heading back into Super Secret Side Project to see if I can get the file tweaking to work without resulting in file breaking!

"Jimper" is available in the Misc section of Shoebox. I'll be posting it to the site in a short while.
Once that's done, along my usual flood of #ScreenshotSaturday tweets, it's time to get thinking about the next Browsercade game.

Blimey, General thoughts!
Usually I don't get a chance to look at the ins and outs of the general frameworks and such, once I've started using them.
But the new Javascript-based frameworks allow for realtime tweaking, and also fixing old broken things along the way, too.
Cool!!

There's always VirtualBox for a retro dev environment, although that doesn't make it easier to find the old versions of the dev kits.

I tried to get this week's Shoebox game done, yesterday, but with so much GUI based stuff to do..
.. My head went "No, I'm sick to death of doing GUIs, this week!!" and decided to shut down.
I'm going to push ahead and try again, today. If not, we'll have to abandon the Shoebox release for this week, because I'm not really sure that any game I make, will fit my head's current need to do something other than yet another GUI driven thing!
