Each week, more and more games are piled onto the site, and tons of feedback is submitted from those who can still be bothered playing any of them!!

The old AGAW native games used to have a feature in the credits screen where the gamers can see how many times they have played the game.

1. Foldapuz got done. It was a bit of a squeeze, but I pulled off another Logic game. (Pills)
I really need to come up with a new Word game for Foldapuz. It's been AGES* since I added one!

.. And that was as far as I got.

After a night of busy coding, I was finally trying to get to sleep at about 2:30am.
I switched off the light, rolled over in bed, and ...

As with last week's Shoebox game, I actually uploaded it about mid-day, yesterday, but haven't yet officially posted about it.
If you're the nosey sort, keep an eye on Shoebox on a Friday, and you might catch a glimpse of the next game, before it's properly finished.
I first wanted to double check everything, and that's best done on the iPad, whilst sat riding my little foot-pedal-doohickey.
Top Tip : Get in shape by forcing yourself to exercise whilst you're doin...

I'm still marginally hopeful that I can make something fun from the car thing.
Right now it's still extremely bland and dull, but I think with a few tweaks, I can manage to get something gamey out of it.

Prepare to Flap, on Switch!

Guide Flappy between the two sides of the screen, landing on the platforms inbetween.
If you've a Switch, and have downloaded SmileBASIC, you can grab a copy of the game using the Public Key...

1. Finish off Flappadiddle on PetitSwitch
2. Finish off Hangman on Shoebox
3. Consider that combining things into one has gone so well on Shoebox that it might be a good idea to start doing that with my PetitSwitch games.
4. Consider that I should probably also do that with AGameAWeek "proper"

I didn't get much done, yesterday, beyond the finishing up of the week's ALChoon.

With JMTrackr "done, enough" for Petit Switch, I can now happily move on to actually making games on the thing.
I've made a quick list of things I should attempt, today.

Seems my head wasn't quite ready to get back into an all-day coding session like I was aiming for.

If you're a frequent reloader of Shoebox of Games, you might've noticed the sounds of the cards being switched out, about half-a-dozen times, over the course of yesterday.

I spent most of last night trying various microphone tweaks in order to get just the right sound.

Spent the past couple of hours rewriting the audio code, so it loads the sounds after first-mouse/touch, instead of all happening right off the bat.

First puzzle game of 2018. If it was not so insanely difficult it will be higher up in the list.

All the trailers, screenshots and the hype from the devlogs for the generic snake game might have confused the regular readers of the blog what is all the fuss about. I guess the hype was about the story in the generic snake game.

Flappadiddle Doo - 3DS is now available as a complete 3DS .zip package, containing the .3dsx homebrew file, alongside a .cia file that can be installed directly into a hacked 3DS's frontend.
Hopefully it works ok. If you do try it, be sure to let me know.

I've just noticed a really odd bug in my site, via the method of visiting another site!
Over at Nintendo Max they've listed Flappadiddle as being from October 2017.
"October 2017? It definitely isn't from then.. Where on earth have they got THAT date from?"
