Rather than make a special video for this week's ALChoon, I skipped the entire process and just grabbed some footage from the recent racing game I made!

I started writing a turtle game in GotoJSE yesterday, but then wondered if that's the right place for it.

The ALChoon is done, but has no lyrics.
I think it might have to be an instrumental, this week, because my brain is all manner of fried!!

Our broadband supplier warned us, last week, that the work being carried out yesterday might end up causing our broadband to disconnect for a few hours.
And it did.
And then it came back.
All was good.

Over on the Centipong DS post, Jefferson just popped on over (4 years after his last comment) and asked about the music.

Still haven't posted this week's SoCoder newsletter, but it's about 95% done, and raring to go!
Once that's done, everything else on the todo list is done, and I'm ready to focus on the two games I need to write by Sunday!

Yesterday I spent an alarming £25 on a MacOS App to create a photo mosaic of the Platdude Pixelarts.

Yesterday was a day of two halves.
First, finishing off the Marblinko game, and then the other have was entirely Green.

Between JXMb code, planning for this week's game, and scrambling to put together an ALChoon, I really haven't had much sleep.
Quantum Leap popping up early didn't help much, either!

The copy+paste functionality now more or less functions like it should, and the new format has been somewhat settled on.. unless I can come up with a better technique to possibly compress the data down any more than it is.

Let's spitball some possible K-titled game ideas.
And try not to end up having to animate a Kangaroo sprite..

Yesterday I fed the high-res version of Greenie into DrawThings, and got it to spit out a variety of different versions of him.

Sat down to do the Screenshot/Logo/Icon/YouTube/etc stuff last night, and just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I still haven't a game in mind for this week, and with 3 days to do it, that might not be a good plan!
But, hey, utter chaos is where some of the best AGameAWeek games come from!

I struggled to find a decent card game with the goblin in it.
My mind tackled many different gameplay styles, but all of them ended up playing like Poker, and we've already got the "Poker Points" game in the Shoebox for that.

I've spent much of this year so far, NOT watching YouTube.
Yesterday, the Quantum Leap Podcast posted an interview with one of the exec-producers of the new series, so I just HAD to hop on over to the toobs and have a watch.

Much as expected, most of yesterday was a complete and utter failure, as far as getting things done is concerned.

Good grief, it certainly was stormy last night.
The wind howling through the small air-vent in my room made for an incredibly noisy night.
Outside, rain and hail was battering the conservatory roof insanely loudly, and the cat was freaking out, running up and down the stairs.

These are the kinds of things you end up with when you ask DallE to draw random 8-bit pixelart characters.
Now I need to figure out what our new character's up to.

The trip to Salford went reasonably well, yesterday.

2022's come and gone, and it's certainly been eventful.
