Yesterday I found myself trying out a variety of themes, to figure out what does and doesn't work in the new engine. Here's a brief selection of those tested. Not a lot of progress, yesterday. A LOT of stuff happened, but nothing substantial enough that I can show it off! I started adding background layers to SpikeDislike3, but at the minute it's all nasty looking temporary art. I'm quite surprised, however, that it worked as well as it did in the Faux-3D mode. Mmm.. Yesterday, someone new registered on my home village's website (LittleLever.info) They, of course, instantly forgot their password, so used the "I forgot my password" button to find it out. Bah, it's Thursday, already, and I've still not gotten a proper start on this next game. You know what, this whole "Gap Year" thing... .. It's not working out, is it? Instead of coding with a vague deadline, I'm spending every day doing nothing, relaxing, and generally being a lazy bum. Sixty two!! That's 10 more games than there are weeks in the year! ..although, that's a teensy bit of a cheat. Technically, I've released 31 games,this year, but Future Classics is 7 games in one, and Alpha Collexion is 26 games in one, so when you add them all up, you get a nice big lovely number!!

Each year, time dependent, I like to do something special over Xmas, and this year I've opted to start early. You might've noticed odd outages and curious tweaks and changes over the course of the last week.. Last Wednesday I decided it was finally time to upgrade the server, and the switch went "mostly" smoothly. There were quirks along the way, and the Wordpress didn't enjoy the shift at all. If you've noticed a few minor changes on the site, that's because I've just done a complete server change, and have lots a few Wordpress settings along the way. Annoyingly they're stuck on the old server, and WordPress has it's settings all the hell over the place!!! I've spent about a day and half uploading files, and am now tweaking settings and things, to get everything nice and tidy, and working properly again. More lovelyness to come. .. I hope!

After a week or so of tweaking, testing and preparing, I've finally settled on a nice PaperArcade template, and have started uploading the lovely little papercraft models into my Archive. These will be done weekly, along with the games, and older ones will be sporadically generated as I find time, and/or are bored!
