Ugh.. Games seem to be taking ages, lately. What's going on? Focus, Jay! FOCUS!!

Yesterday was spent with Mother.

Gosh, yesterday didn't go as planned. I didn't do ANY coding on this week's game. I didn't do ANY coding on the iOS Framework. But that doesn't mean I didn't do any coding!!

Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be making AGameAWeek, here, aren't I? Oops! Sidetracked again.

I'm sure the ArtFlow.ai devs weren't exactly happy with my grumbling yesterday, but hats off to them, they did a fantastic job of fixing up the engine so it could once again reproduce lovely Greenie artworks.

You know when you're busy coding and then it's 4:30 in the morning? That.. Again!

Ableton 12 finally came out, and I dashed to grab it. .. reluctantly.. with a large dent in my bank balance.

Not great.. ... Not great...

So, last night "kinda" went well.. 'ish..

I managed to get most of this week's ALChoon done, yesterday, and have already planned what the video will be like!

The fishing game is practically done. It's very boring, though.

Three sets of Ikea Alex drawers showed up yesterday, so all coding was off whilst they were built up.

Spent far too long making a lovely wave effect for the top of the screen in the upcoming fishing game.

I had a lovely birthday, yesterday. Thanks for all who sent well wishes yesterday. I'm now strictly over the hill. Perhaps I should have some sort of middle-age midlife crisis, and do something crazy like buy a bungalow, and switch to MacOS, full time. .. Oh..

I'm 44 today. Feels like a really high score.

Over the past few days, JSE's come up over on SyntaxBomb.com, and I've had to waffle on about it to try and explain what it is, what it's purpose is, and why most people probably shouldn't be using it to write games like I do!! Then I noticed something..

Today (presuming my shoe rack arrives early enough) will be focussed on my desk. Turning it form "OMG!CHAOS!!" back to some sort of videogame haven.
