Me and Michael Fernie have been emailing back and forth, today, all about the recent Shoebox additions, and player feedback.
Lots of new games added to Shoebox. Very nice. Seems like you are getting a bunch of comments too. That is exciting because people are playing.
Indeed. Unlike my previous 400 games, these ones actually seem to be popular!!
I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing!

If you're a frequent reloader of Shoebox of Games, you might've noticed the sounds of the cards being switched out, about half-a-dozen times, over the course of yesterday.

For the past few months, I've been back and forthing on a way to get this to look half-assed on the 3DS.
The main issue is with the Starfield, vs the 3DS's LED "haze" (Or maybe that's because I'm using a Original 3DS as my Homebrew unit!?)
The slow-to-react LED is causing really horrible "clarity" issues.
When you moved, the stars turned to a dark grey whilst the screen tries to catch up. If you stopped, and it has time to draw them fully, they become hard and white.
...

OK, here's one thing I've learned, today.
For .. Whatever.. reason, emscripten seems to work infinitely better if you #include ".cpp" instead of #include ".h" like you'd normally do.
I'm fairly sure this is "wrong", but screw it, I don't care!!

As I plan out my methodology for making 3DS themes, I'm hitting somewhat of a brick wall.

This is a comment about the recent feature ''enter your name'' after playing one time.

Yesterday, as I watched the empty scoreboards once more, I decided it was probably about time I "switched them on" properly.

Note : In order to activate online scores on my recent games, hop into the options screen, and Enter Your Name.

I should probably make this a regular thing, again. It's always fun to get a little back'n'forth going.

Recently, i saw a Choplifter game (Game Gear), on youtube and thought, with a bit of imagination,the rescuees looks like the platdude. So my idea is, if you like to make a Choplifter Clone or alike with platdude. At least something with Helicopter ? ^^;

My plan for this week was mostly to fix all the issues that people had with the first test release on 3DS.

So, the R4 3DS i Gold + (or something) turned up last night, at around 6pm, and I spent the next two and a half hours faffing about to get the Homebrew Launcher installed onto my old 3DS.

A conversation over on SoCoder inevitably led to me ordering a 3D Printer, because..
*shrugs*
It's my birthday next Friday, so if I needed an excuse... There it is!

I added the generic menu beeps, last night.

So, after having read up on URL access for a couple of hours, I managed to get about 0% through it, yesterday.
I might actually end up trying to find a proper book on the subject, and having a good focused read-through. .. Although I imagine any book would probably focus on Win/Linux, and not the cross-platform usage I'm after.
I've really coded myself into a pickle, here!

After waking up to a moderately awakened state, I opened Control Center on the iPad and tapped the Record button!

For about an hour, yesterday, this site was inaccessible due to "Error 508 - Resource Limit Reached"
I asked the hosts what was up, but the reply wasn't all that helpful.. Or at least, they didn't specify what it was, that was using up all the resources.
