This week, I've been working on the game Penguin Parade. This is a semi sequel to the game that appeared in Alpha Collexion, but in reality is more of a Lemmings clone. Over the course of this week, I've built a sturdy engine, made a few "skills", and got a decent control method to work on gamepads.  I've animated a penguin, and got a few GUI elements in place, and .. My latest reworking of my Multiplayer code STILL got rejected by PlayJam. Grrr. Android.. Since the game plays perfectly well with wired controllers, it appears that the actual issue is Bluetooth related. Quite how I can solve such an issue is beyond me. I've now put the Multiplayer games on the backburner, and have instead chosen to focus on getting some actual coding done. Which brings us to this. It's been about a week and a half since SpikeDislike3 appeared on Android and iOS. In the space of just over a week, it's managed to do "fairly" well on iOS, and has sold over 100 copies. True, that's not amazing, but at least it's something, and it's great to know that at least 100 people still enjoy good gaming! Meanwhile, on the Android side, the game has now sold 12 copies. Of those 12, at least one was a pirate, and that copy ended up being splashed over every damn piracy ...

Not a lot of progress, yesterday. A LOT of stuff happened, but nothing substantial enough that I can show it off! I started adding background layers to SpikeDislike3, but at the minute it's all nasty looking temporary art. I'm quite surprised, however, that it worked as well as it did in the Faux-3D mode. Mmm..
